Description

Students will apply principles of mechanical advantage, force, and simple machines to design, construct, and test a functioning pulley system. 🧵

Set in the coastal city of STIIX-Ville, students are tasked with developing a lifting mechanism to help transport boats out of the harbor more efficiently. Through this hands-on engineering challenge, students will explore how pulley configurations impact effort and load, while documenting their design process and evaluating the performance of their systems.⛴️

As an extension, students may explore an optional Augmented Reality experience through the STIIX-Ville app, where they can interact with and reflect on careers related to project.🏙️
